Step for a new PC – Testing [with Unattended.xml file]

  • La PC no debe estar conectada al internet
  1. Instalar Windows 11
  2. Conectar la PC al internet
  3. [Desinstalar Office 365]
  4. Activate Windows or change the Product Key
  5. [Turn Off BitLocker on the Control Panel]
  6. [Install WMIC – Settings -> System -> Optional features]
  7. [Run as Administrator Create the Account Users – profesor or estudiante and tec]
  8. Computer Description and Computer Name or Host Name in this format 630E011-2122643
  9. [Change Workgroup to UPRAG]
  10. Control Panel view as Large Icons
  11. [Change the Time Zone to (UTC-04:00) Georgetown, La Paz, Manaus, San Juan]
  12. [Update Now Internet Time]
  13. Run Windows Updates and the Optional updates in the Advance Options
  14. Set Windows Updates Turn ON (Get the latest updates as soon they’re available)
  15. [File Explorer Options – Showing File Extensions]
  16. [Set the password to never expire for the current account]
  17. [Enable the High Performance power plan]
  18. [Set the taskbar alignment to the left]
  19. [Set the Windows light theme]
  20. [Desktop Icons: My Computer icon, Control Panel icon, User’s Files icon and Trash Can]
  21. Activate Microsoft Office and open new document and close it

  23. Install PatchMyPC (Disable Patch My PC Log File) and put it inside User’s File folder

  25. Install in the Portable Software – AdwCleaner and CCleaner
  26. Open Command Prompt as Administrator -> winget update –all
  27. Open Mozilla Firefox, end the configuration, (Enable Menu Bar) close it and the pin to taskbar
  28. Open Adobe Reader (Set as Default to open PDFs) delete icon from desktop
  29. Open Revo Uninstaller (Disable Make System restore Point before uninstall and Disable Helper) and delete icon from desktop
  30. Open Google Chrome, end the configuration and close it then pin to taskbar
  31. Install “Política Institucional”
  32. Install Falcon CounterStrike

Apply these extra settings only in the classroom

  • Google Chrome: Settings-> Password and autofill -> Google Password Manager -> Settings -> Uncheck Offer to save passwords and passkeys and Uncheck Sign in automatically
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Passwords -> Uncheck Ask to save passwords
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Cookies and Site Data -> Check Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed
