SIA Installation

Apply these extra settings if the PC need SIA

1. 1. Install Java and add in the Control Panel -> Exception -> https://sia.upr.edu
   2. Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Security Tab
      1. Select zone as “Internet” and click on “Custom Level“
      2. Scroll down and then “Enable” the “Allow status bar updates via script” option
      3. “Enable” the “Allow the websites to prompt for information using scripted windows” option
   3. Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Security Tab
      1. Select as “Trusted Sites” and click on “Sites“:
      2. Add the URL https://sia.upr.edu
      3. Click on Add & Close button
   4. Microsoft Excel Setup -> File -> Options -> Trust Center -> Trust Center Settings:
   5. Select “Macro Settings” on the left navigation pane
      1. select “Enable all macros”
      2. select “Trust access to the VBA project object model“
   6. “Protected View” option on the left navigation pane
      1. un-check all the protected view options
   7. Click “Ok” and close Excel
